Water Heater Buyback Program

Terms and Conditions

The Water Heater Buyback Program is a promotional offer provided by Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain, a DBA operating under LK Plumbing & Heating LLC, intended to provide customers with a credit toward the replacement of an existing residential water heater.

By participating in this promotion, customers agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Promotional Credit

Eligible customers may receive up to $200 in promotional credit toward the installation of a new water heater purchased and installed by Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain.

The credit amount will be applied to the final invoice for the installation of the replacement water heater.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the buyback credit:

  • The customer must purchase a new water heater installation through Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain.

  • The existing water heater must be removed and surrendered to Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain at the time of installation.

  • The removed unit becomes the property of Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain for recycling or disposal.

3. Credit Amount

The promotional credit provided will be up to $200, depending on the condition and type of the existing water heater.

Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain reserves the right to determine eligibility and the applicable credit amount.

4. Eligible Equipment

The buyback program applies to:

  • Residential tank-style water heaters

  • Residential tankless water heaters

Commercial equipment, boilers, or other heating systems may not qualify.

5. Non-Transferable Offer

This promotional offer:

  • Has no cash value

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Cannot be transferred to another customer or property

  • Cannot be applied to services other than a qualifying water heater installation

6. Combination With Other Promotions

This promotion may be combined with other promotions or discounts at the discretion of Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain.

7. Service Area Limitations

Offer is valid only within the normal service area of Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain. Additional travel charges may apply for installations outside the standard service radius.

8. Scheduling and Availability

All installations are subject to technician availability, equipment availability, and scheduling capacity.

9. Program Changes

Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain reserves the right to:

  • Modify the promotional credit amount

  • Change program requirements

  • Terminate the program at any time

Any changes will not affect customers who have already signed an installation agreement prior to the change.

10. Additional Costs

The buyback credit applies only toward the installation of the replacement water heater.

Additional costs may apply for:

  • Plumbing code upgrades

  • Venting modifications

  • Water line upgrades

  • Gas line modifications

  • Electrical work

  • Permit fees

  • Other installation requirements identified during inspection

11. Payment Terms

Payment for installation services must be made in accordance with the terms outlined in the installation agreement with LK Plumbing & Heating LLC / Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain.

12. Right to Refuse Service

Yellow Sub Plumbing & Drain reserves the right to refuse participation in this promotion if:

  • The equipment is unsafe to remove

  • The installation environment presents safety concerns

  • The existing equipment does not meet eligibility requirements

13. Governing Law

This promotion and its terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
